Maybelline Total Temptation Brow Definer £7.99 It wears well throughout the day without flakes or smudges and it didn’t even smudge when I had watery eyes the other day making it a winner in my books. It’s not a lengthening mascara in my opinion, but the volume and drama is worth it alone when you have short straight lashes like myself and it layers nicely without becoming a clumpy mess.
I find the brush really helps to add volume to the lashes when used in a zig zag motion from root to tip, and it’s a super black formula so it makes my lashes look dramatic. The brush is natural bristled brush which is my favourite when it comes to mascara and it’s not as big as some of the Maybelline mascaras although to me it looks like a straight version of the Falsies Mascara brush. I know it shouldn’t matter but I’m loving the pastel pink packaging for this collection as it’s so pretty and the tube is pretty big for a mascara.
I don’t know if I have noticed any improvement of my lashes thanks to the coconut so I’m not sure if it’s more of a gimmick but I’d like to think it’s conditioning the lashes. It really does smell of coconut but with the typical hard to describe mascara scent mixed in too which you can’t smell during application or whilst it’s on the lashes but it’s a nice touch. I have never used a mascara which contains coconut before so I was really interested by this mascara especially as I’d read the mascara smells of coconut too as I love anything coconut scented, although I’m not sure a coconut scent is needed for the lashes. There are quite a few new mascara launches within the drugstore right now and the newest offering within my stash is the Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara which I’ve seen in a fair few YouTube videos recently.
